It seems like there is always a unusual amount of littler kids at kalamazoo airsoft compared to other airsoft places and events. I have talked to a lot of people and they do not come to KA very often because of the amount of kids there.
So, what I am suggesting is that Kalamazoo does one or more of a few thing. They either
A- Raise the age limit to say 12-14 and strictly enforce it.
B- Make, say, Sunday ages 15 and up only, strictly enforced of course, and the rest of the days the usual ten and up. Or just make one day 10 and up, and the rest 15 and up.
I think B would be a win win option, if Friday was ages 10+ they will still get the business from the little kids, and then when Saturday and Sunday are ages 15 and up, they will get business from the older people and start drawing in the people who have previously not gone to kalamazoo because of the kids. Thus increasing there profits.
That's about all I have to say, thanks!

They use to have a kids day on Sunday and Friday/Saturday would be more adult crowd(16+). I personally think they should bring that back.

Personally they entertain me when they run away screaming, as long as they follow the rules and actually give a little bit of effort I don't mind them. I will agree thought that having 1 day a weekend for 15+ year olds would be nice, the 27th after the swap meet and open play they're having a 13-19 year old night only.

I like the idea for 1 day is a certain age and up, but here's the thing, I'm only 14, and my brother is only 12. But we are just as respectful and professional as any 18 yr old on the field. The only thing I don't like about that idea is the younger kids who actually are mature. That's just my two cents.

That may be true that u are that respectul but then it causes issues of other kids saying they are and then that cause a lot of issues of what seems like them playing favorites

It is just not a issue of maturity, it is sometimes simply the fact that older people do not want to play with littler kids, at least not that amount of them.

Yeah. But I feel like there's no good way to tell other than just having an age limit. But it would be hard to find a good age

Agreed, when I was there for the swap meet, their was 3-4 disrespectful 10 year olds who were messing with everyones stuff including mine, they also spilt 6 bags of popcorn every where and basically tried to refuse to clean it up. So a day for 16+ only would be nice.

14+ unless vouched for by a player who is 14+ or a "known player" could be the way to go. It's very common with other fields and hosts across MI.

I would say 15 or 16 plus, there are going to be people who are 14 that look older and pass as 15 or 16. Just my two cents

I wouldn't go lower than 16. 17-18 is where I would prefer it. If you go as low as 14 you really only cut out about 15-30% of the players depending on the day. I'm open to having those under the limit be able to be vouched for either by ownership or reputable players, or if they are playing with a parent who will keep an eye on them.
In my mind the younger kids don't really bother me as they tend to stay hidden and not venture too far out of spawn. They have their hit calling issues for sure and need to learn to call them, but I have a bigger issue with the newer players. I think there should be a separate pregame briefing for first time players to go in depth with the consequences of breaking the rules. Or have one day a month as a learning opportunity for all younger/new players to do the same as well as give tips and advice on how to be a better player, physically and mentally. I think that would greatly reduce rule issues and provide a better playing expirence for everyone.
To sum it up. I like the idea of a day or time specifically set aside for the younger or older players, but I'd also like to see a drastic reduction of in-game issues. Every time I made the trip down to play last year, it seemed like the problems were getting worse and worse. I don't mind making the trip, but having the day ruined by poor sportsmanship sucks.

I think that there should be a day for new people to train it could be Thursday for a couple of hours and be really cheap. They should have the experienced players train them if they want because I have a lot of friends that are planning on playing airsoft or already have but need some training and also I could use some training myself.

Thursday is reserved for league nights, nor would their be a big turnout for that.
