I was looking at getting a WE Scar, but I have a couple questions. If anyone has had any experience with we gas rifles, please give me your honest opinion of them.

Very awesome. Lots of upkeep tho. Cleaning is key. The gun functions alot like the real steel version and can be finicky. also, expensive to field because of the magazines. $40-$50 per mag and they only hold 30 rounds. If you plan to use it at KA, you will need to find a low power bolt or a way to adjust the gas system because, right out of the box they can shoot well over 400fps. I have one and tried to field it, but I ran into the issues I listed above. When they work right, awesome guns. But if you get one, you really have to commit to the platform and be willing to maintain your gun.
