I wanted to film the games of airsoft that I play but I don't have a good camera. I have a Coby Snapp that I have been using but I need a good idea on how to mount it. I can mount it on my gun and still see down my sights. Do you think that it's a good idea to get me started? If you have a better idea please let me know. This is what my camera looks like. I plan to buy a GoPro camera later once I have money but for now my Snapp has to do. Update 6.20.12I changed the tape to velcro, cut up a pair of old goggles for a safety shield, and used electric tape to hold it on. This is what the new camera looks like when I record. This is one of the new camera I will be using, it attaches to my vest. Here is a video of Yukon, Raider, and myself playing some 2v2 in the woods. This is the recording quality of this camera. Update 5.20.12I set up my camera on a hat and then adjusted it so I know how to wear it and it can catch the max amount of action. I don't think I will use it at KA though. I will play with my friends with it but I think it looks stupid and I look like an idiot with it on. I used masking tape because I don't have money for duck tape.

LOL try black duct tape or Camo! Either way this is a pretty ingenious idea!

I think it's completely bad Ba donk-a-donk that you taped it to your hat. Seriously, I think it's great. How does it work? Have yo had a chance to test it yet? OK, I just lawled that the forums changed @ss to Ba donk-a-donk.

I updated my hat camera again, now I have a shield over the camera and I switched to velcro instead of masking tape.

It's actually not that bad. I had it on my gun, I could look under where the screen folds, it was a nice set up but I always had my gun down so you couldn't see much. I just bought an actual helmet camera today so my video quality will improve.
I like your setup. However what do you do to protect the camera lens? I cut up old goggles and taped it over the lens.

I didn't have anything over the lens but after you brought that to my attention I might put a goggle lens over it.
I agree about the quality of the gun cam i tend to get a lot of footage of the ground.
cant wait to see your helmet cam in action you should post it under the product review thread.
