Alright, thought I would put my question here, I'm picking up a TM G17 from a seller. He's only expressed on issue with the gun, that I would like to know how to fix before it arrives, to save myself the headache. Whenever fired, within the first few shots, the gun will expel all of the gas. The only thing he expressed that seemed to be an issue, was a rubber piece in the blowback unit that keeps getting twisted.
Any suggestions would be great, I'm a big fan of Glock pistols, so knowing how to fix this issue would be great. Though I'm not very familiar with GBB tech work.

First thought would be the hammer spring, but it could have to do with the gas release valve.

It could be. I've seen some rather odd fixes, some people seem to be adding some sort of spacer, in the slide to fix it, by lowering where the blowback unit sits. Others are just advising to lube up the hammer like hell. I'm almost considering just buying an new blowback unit. Guess I'll have to see when it arrives though.

I would say to try a new hammer spring before you go replacing TM pixie dust parts. The paper shims are hit or miss, on my kwa it fixed it, but on my we it did nothing.

Yeah fair enough. Of course if I didn't have to ship from HK, getting a TM blowback unit wouldn't be such a pain. May try the paper shims first, then the hammer spring. If nothing else works, guess it's time to pull out the big guns and order new parts.

Either way, hope it's an easy fix, because unless you shop E-hobby Asia, is isn't terribly easy to get a TM Glock...sadly though mine had the trades removed, or at least that's how the photo seems to make it look.
