Hey I was just curious, How do you mount a GoPro on a Fast Helmet or a Mich 2000. Also which is better contour or gopro?

Most people get the helmet mount for a go pro and it attaches to an Nvg mount. Countours typically mount on the fast rails.

Gopro normally mounted to nvg mount. I would guess the same on a mich. which is better. No that is a matter of perspective. Gopro hands down has the best low light quality on the market. But it is a box. Contour is more streamline. But quality is lower. And has to be mounted on a side. Which can interfere with where your trying to get action.

I usually mount my contour on the fast rails as well, but you can easily mount it on top as well. It gives a really nice perspective, it only makes you look much taller than you actually are, could be a pro too. Other than that, darth hit it right on, you will get better low light images with a gopro, and I believe the new ones can do 60 & 120fps (@1080p), but outdoors they are very similar in image quality. Image of a top/center mount for the contour. (Sorry for the phone quality)

To mount it on a mich, you may either use a NVG mount OR those sticky mounts that come with your go pro. Either works fine but a NVG mount will look and be better in the long run
