What are some good off brand P*s and what performance can you get out of them?

I'm not sure on the performance of the Valken V12 , the Wolverine SMP is pretty good from what I've heard from some friends, and then there is the all holy Polar Star. Polar star just released info on their drop in HPA system at shot show, the F1 engine. Seems pretty decently priced at $375 and will work in ANY version gearbox. You also get the P* reliability which is great.

Valken is nearly identical in performance to a p* This video series will tell you everything you need to know and more about the smp, fusion engine and v12. Bingo Airsoftworks HPA Engine Review, Part 1 of 3…: youtu.be/rroR2_hi_Uo

Pvt.Life, your better off waiting for this new F1 Engine to come out. But if you want a diffrent HPA system go for SMP. SAPPER has owned both so shoot him a PM and he'd probably give you his thoughts on both and help you out.

The smp is severely limited in the settings you can adjust on it but it can be more efficient than the p* or v12 if you set it up right. The p* is easier to use and like the smp has an external fcu which some may consider a weakness. The v12 has identical operating specs to the v12 and had an internal fcu however it is a more tedious process to adjust the fcu settings. Seriously, watch the videos, it's what made me decide on the v12.

I love both my smp's. I got them very tuned and I have my full auto shooting a 3rd burst and semi shooting just like it states. I love it and plan on getting 2more installed soon.

You also need a tank, line, and regulator before you can use it.

Pvt. Life Let's just say I'll never go with any other HPA system again (Maybe the tippman M4...). But Like Doc said the Wolverine Single Moving Part (SMP) system is all you'll ever need. I run a VFC HK417 350c with this system and without lots of modification a Polarstar would never work due to the cruddy V.2.5 gear box (A very slim downed version of the V.2 that always fails and breaks). With this build all i needed was the trigger board from Bingo Airsoft Works and the SMP (Plus some tech and soldering skills). Drop the SMP in, unsolder the stock trigger wires, and solder the new trigger board wires in. Connect everything, and boom you got yourself a custom build.
Through my rambling what im trying to say is you can drop the SMP into any AEG gun (They're developing an offset nozzle for M14's). Plus there are only two settings on the SMP (ROF, and Dwell) you don't have to be a brain surgeon to fine tune it.
Wolverine SMP all the way.
