I am considering buying a CO2 pistol. I would love to get a KWA but as far as I know, they don't make any for CO2. Since I already have a 1911 gas pistol I'm looking for a glock style. On Evike I'm stuck between the ISSC M-22 blowback and the APS ACP blowback. ISSC M-22: slightly cheaper metal outer barrel can't find spare mags anywhere
APS ACP: spare mags available strange way of putting in CO2 capsule orange plastic outer barrel (but black metal one is available) comments on Evike aren't consistent whether it's good or bad
I don't know when spare mags will be available for the ISSC or if they will at all.
Any suggestions? Or reasons why I should stay away from CO2?
Thanks Cole Wiker

KWA doesn't sell primarily CO2 guns, they do however sell CO2 mags for their Glock style pistols. Here are the CO2 KWA Glock MagsAll it took was a quick search on Evike.

I've heard that It can be VERY difficult to get crosman 12g C02 cartridges in the APS ACP.

Those co2 mags for the KWA guns only last for a very short time. Then don't work at all. I personally have been looking at the aps acp. The way you put in the gas seems like a better system than the current way co2 mags work. The aps is also tm compatible. Which mean we also. So there are ton of options.

TM compatible does not necessarily mean WE compatible. There is Hi-Capa compatible and TM compatible. I'm not seeing any mention of parts compatibility on Evike.

Why not just buy a WE or other brand glock from overseas?

the only problem I've had with my c02 mag for my Kwa glock is the seal, but i just put a small O-ring on it and it works great.

Derpy I have gone through 4 of these mags now. And they all have failed. I'll give the one remaining one I have to who ever wants it. Because I have tried and tried to get them working again and they just don't function correctly. And from all I have seen all we glock style pistols are all tm compatible. Because we are tm clones. There is pretty much only 2 types of glocks out there. KWA/KSC. And the tm style. We,stark arms, aps, hfc Link to mag. Clearly says fits tm and we www.mainirishairsoft.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=1166.

The RAT mags are the only co2 mags available for KWA pistols. So yes. And they have all failed with in a month or 2. Like I said you can have mine if you want.

Seeing as the ISSC is made by WE-TECH, I believe it is safe to assume it takes all WE compatible mags. That being said, I have no experience with WE-TECH CO2 powered pistols, But there Green Gas pistols are nothing to write home about. I had two WE guns and neither of them lasted longer than 6 months. So I would stay away from them. I'm not sure if you have thought about it, but my KWA Green Gas pistol works just fine in the colder weather. The only difference I have noticed is a drop in gas efficiency. If your set on CO2 however, I would get the ACP. I have heard good things about it so far. Regarding the CO2 mags for a KWA, It will wear down on the gun a lot quicker and wouldn't be as reliable. CO2 has a higher pressure than green gas and many guns can't handle the excess pressure for very long.

I own a APS ACP and I can tell you that it will NOT accept Crossman CO2 cartridges. For some reason Crossman are a tad too wide. I've tried Daisy CO2 cartridges and they work but are still a snug fit.
