I got a Gryffon Golem Chest Rig in tan for a friend on an order from Airsoft GI. I decided to do a review on it since it's such an inexpensive piece of equipment, and could be beneficial to those of us who have tight budgets, or are just starting the game and don't want to invest a lot of money up front.

Pros:
1. Obviously, the price. It's almost too cheap to be true.
2. The integral front pouches are pretty versatile and seem to work pretty well.
3. There is MOLLE on the sides for attaching more pouches or a holster.
4. The straps are adjustable, and it seems like this rig could fit a pretty large person.
5. It's available in black, tan, and OD, so there should be a match for gear that you may already have.
Cons:
1. The material may not hold up as long if it's run too hard. Then again, I really don't think that most airsoft gear is pushed very hard. Determining how hard you use (or abuse) your stuff would be a good consideration if you're looking into this chest rig.
2. The shoulder straps aren't all that comfortable; I'd suggest putting some sort of padding underneath them.
3. If you're a smaller person, it will take a little ingenuity to make sure that there aren't strap ends flapping around everywhere. This isn't a huge issue though.
In the end, I'd recommend this product for people on a budget, or for new players who don't want to spend a lot of money on airsoft stuff. If you're looking for a simple and affordable chest rig that can easily be used to carry a wide variety of equipment without a lot of extra pouches, don't count this rig out.
