Hey guys, so I've been thinking a lot about my future lately and I'm about to start taking classes for business and a class on entrepreneurs, my question to you is, is anybody here an entrepreneur? How do you like it? What advice do you have? This looks like a good career field to be a part of, I'd want to start my own business after I invent something or something along those lines. No trolls.

There are a ton of possibilities out there. From someone who works as CIO for a national corporation, and also runs 3 businesses of his own, it all comes down to three things.
1.) Have a plan. 2.) Be willing to take a risk. 3.) Don't stop yourself with a "I Can't" because you "Don't have the funds" or "Don't have the time".
Follow the three above steps and you'll go far. Every failure is one step closure to success, and one more lesson in the books. Take nothing for granted and have a product or service that people need/want. Just know that while classes are a great resource, a true entrepreneur is made through their own actions, provided by their own thought process, not from the school they went to. Don't expect to come out of the classes with an idea in hand. Expect to come out with Debt, and a solid idea of how to form a plan, and run the business. Steps 2 and three you have to commit to, and find solutions around the obstacles. If you'd ever like to chat sometime more than a forum post, I'm an open book.
EDIT: It's also not really a "Career Field" a Career would imply it's one specific niche or industry. Entrepreneur is a state of mind/state of being in which you create careers for others.
