KWA CQR MOD2 vs Matrix Pro-line M4

I'm looking at getting started into airsoft. Used to paintball a bit, 10+ years ago. Simply too expensive for me ATM.

Looking at full metal AEGs, either the KWA CQR MOD2 or Matrix Pro-line M4.

Anyone have experience with either of those?

I know a guy selling his matrix that's got some internal upgrades, with a laser, red dot, 4 mags, couple batteries, charger, and 25,000 rounds for $400. He's offloading airsoft so he can get into paintball lol, so I'm considering a trade with him, my equipment for his. Assuming he has good equipment.

So after further research, matrix sounds like crap. Evike rebrand of Chinese crap. Several people recommended Lonex M4 for the $200 price range, any opinions on that?
