Operation: Origins Loadout Advice

Being my first MilSim, I was thinking I could post what I'm bringing and get some feedback on necessary things I'm missing and unnecessary things I'm bringing. Any help would be much appreciated!

For the record, I plan on being on N. Korea.

Weapons: (All of the weapons I'm bringing to the location, not necessarily into the MilSim itself.)
-JG Steyr AUG A3 AEG w/ 4-5 170 round mid-cap magazines.
-TM HK MP7 AEG w/ 3 Low-Cap 50 round magazines (I'd have more but I can't get them in time, I found out about this event only a few days ago.)
-Umarex HK P30 EBB w/ 2 low-cap 15 round magazines, for emergencies only

Equipment:
-Pack of colored smoke bombs w/ lighter.
-Marines Tinted Goggles, Meets ANSI Z87.1+
-Black Proto Full-Face Paintball Mask (In case I get hit in the mouth just one too many times.
-1 Roll Electrical Tape
-16 AAA Batteries in case of equipment failure (Mine or teammates.)
-Black Pistol Belt Holster w/ 1 pistol magazine pouch.
-Cleaning rod for gun barrels.
-2 Metal Tac Speed Loaders
-5000 King Arms White .20g BB's
-Black Cold Steel Tactical Knife w/ holster.

Apparel:
-Black Wells Lamont Reinforced Work Gloves (Better feel than most shooting gloves I've tried.)
-Swiss Arms Black Tactical Vest.
-Black The North Face All-Terrain Boots
-Black Hat with "Arvco" patch on the front.
-A Pair of old Khaki Pants.
-Black or Tan Long-Sleeve Tee (whichever Target has for cheap)
-Tan cloth belt.

I realize the apparel is less that optimal, but being a college student, I live on a pretty tight budget and don't own any desert camo. That being said, scrutiny is welcomed, as I'd prefer to not be killed over-and-over next saturday.

Get some mid caps for your aug if possible.
Airsoftsmith has mag brand ones in stock right now.

Make sure you have an extra battery or two for you aug too, a gun dying in the field is the most annoying thing ever. Especially while you're in the middle of a sticky situation.

Thanks for the heads-up with the mags. I just got 4 170 round mags for under $18 each after shipping.

This is more of a question for the KA staff. Will anyone be selling batteries at the event, and will there be any electrical outlets the soldiers will be able to use?

Oh, and where could I buy very cheap tan camo? Like, $25 for a set of mediums cheap?

Head down to Youngs on Westnedge might be able to get a desert camo long sleeve for around 10ish never know may be able to do better than that.
Also dont forget your kill rag and bandage for the medics.

My only issue with Young's is that you can't buy anything there without them pushing another 5 things onto you.

And Thanks for reminding me about the rags. I almost forgot.

EDIT: What color is the kill rag for this MilSim?

Your load out looks fine. Make sure you bring some kind of radio. My first Milsim I only had my BDUs, a condor crossdraw vest, my REC-16 and my one Hi-cap mag.

Would a basic 10-channel walkie-talkie work as a radio?

Sure, just be advised that it may not pick up cross field transmissions.

Ok. I only have like $30 to get me through the rest of the week (Not that I'm spending much, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow) so it's better than nothing
