I like turf wars. It is one of my preferred game types down at the course. There is however one thing I was discussing with a few friends I think would improve it. This is to calculate points for when an area is controlled. Similar to the domination game mode from Call of Duty or the conquest mode from Battlefield.
Instead of flags have a small switch like the lights inside; connected to some sort of timer in different areas(3 outside, 3 inside for example). If red team hits it to there color it racks up time for them and vise versa for yellow. I just feel this would be a more intense game and also be more fair way to call who won. I say more fair because I've seen teams dominate in turf wars and then right at the end lose, sometimes from well played tactics, but sometimes simple things like multiple team mates guns malfunctioning or running out of ammo.
To calculate a winner, time would be added up at the end. The team that has the higher number would be the victor. This doesn't even need to change turf wars, it could really be it's own game type.
That's all I got. Thank you for your time!

I actually like how the game could change tides any second. It's more intense, and fair enough as is. Let's leave turf wars alone.

Like I said, you could keep it a separate game.

I used to run domination games out at the Farm. I had three flags you could raise and lower, and at the 3 minute mark I tallied just as COD does. People seemed to enjoy it, and I think it could be a great addition to the airhouse game list.
