I just have one question. What is the best out-of-the-box spring sniper rifle for CQB? And if there is none what do you have to do to make it CQB playable? Any help would be much appreciated!

To my knowledge there are none. What you need to do is tone down the spring to be shooting 350fps and under.

Yea, the TM rifles shoot around 280 fps out of the box, and the Socom Gear r700 shoots about 300 ish fps with the piston weights.

Worst case scenario you can snip a little bit of the spring off.

Some people like that style, I've met some VERY good CQB snipers although it seems like a tricky task.

I am one of those who CQB snipes. I absolutely love it. Those who know I do it know Im pretty good at it. I'll be rocking one of my CQB snipers this Friday if your going to be there. I run a custom Socom Gear R700 with an EOtech for faster target acquisition. Deadly accurate.

Nope. I am going to be there this Saturday though. You should come, there should be a great turnout as there has been the last couple of weeks!

Well, not to necropost but you really don't want a sniper for CQC. I say this not because of length or rate of fire but because they are not at all cost effective versus an AEG. There are good CQC snipers on the market but they do not perform much above an AEG costing a bit less then they do.
If you're dead set on this, get a Tokyo Marui Vsr-10 (IF you can find one in stock) and throw a tight bore in it. If you're planing on using it for CQC with ONLY the stock spring, get a new piston.
If you're not going to upgrade it past CQC FPS limits, don't mess around with mounting a scope, it's just not necessary.
I run a Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Gspec shooting about 530 fps with a ton of upgraded internals. I do sometimes swap out the spring for the stock one for giggles because with my zero trigger+piston it is incredibly quiet and CQC friendly(Other then the long Gspec barrel).
