My WE HI CAPA dragons mag only fires 8 rounds before the gas is out but has a 31 capacity mag. Explanation?

Load the mag with gas, if you hear a hiss, then it is a faulty O-ring, if not then you're probably just not filling your mags correctly. Remember, always store green gas mags with a little bit of gas to maintain O-ring integrity. More detail about a problem leads to better answers and solutions. Edit: I would suggest putting questions like this in the Gun Tech and Repair of the forum.

My WE HI CAPA dragons mag only fires 8 rounds before the gas is out but has a 31 capacity mag. Explanation? What is the temperature of the area in which you are shooting? If it is below 50 degrees, that will be a major factor.

I was testing it in my 78 degree house and the most it shoots off is 8 rounds Now that we established that environment is not a factor, you can focus on the mechanical problem. Try listening to the mag as I suggested. Hissing, popping, basically anything other than silence from the mag indicates a leak. Be sure to listen to the output and charging valve (one near the top and one on the bottom, respectively). As I said before, more details = better answers.

Yes and I had figured out that and I did a complete take down and lubed everything up and now it shoots 20 shots per fill which I can deal with that

Buy a new mag, and if its still only getting that many shots off, you'll know for sure it's the actual gun. If not, then you have another working mag that gets 30 rounds off.
