I've been looking for a magpul style m4 and really like G&G but I hear KWA is one of the best brands on the market. I'm deciding between www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_672_684&products_id=41228 And www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=35792I like the G&G style more and am more familiar with their rifles but the KWA seems to have better internals. Anyone know which would be better and why?

It depends do you like more plastic on a gun or more metal id go with a g&g because that's the only good aeg I've ever owned

See I love the G&G m16 and I don't want a real heavy gun either.

KWA because the stock gear box is second to none, strong build and only the lower receiver is metal and the upper is polymer. The guns weight is about the same, for me KWA all the way.

KWA AEGs are terrible there not worth your money. I've heared many instances were the guns internals break and continue to break plus there parts are very proprietary so save some money and go with something else.

I'm not sure if that's a 100% true because I have a friend that fits a 9.6 butterfly in the magpul front end. It may take some moding to fit the 11.1 but nothing that I would be worried about.

Sorry to say, but KWA AEGs are some of the worst on the market. They use a lot of proprietary dimensions where they stray from the standard TM spec that has been around for years. This makes them incompatible with some parts, and the stock KWA parts arent that great. The gearbox is painted on the inside which is horrible when it comes to tolerances. The piston head is metal which is about the last thing you want slamming around inside of your gearbox. And finally the barrel group is the two piece floating design that we moved on from years ago because it leads to inaccuracy and inconsistency.
There are a bunch of other little things wrong with them as well, but all in all they are not a good choice. G&G g4s from ASGI are my personal favorite for m4 builds. Despite the polymer body, which I actually have come to like, they are incredibly durable. My personal rifle was ran over by my 1500 pickup with no damage.
