I'm doing a WW2 winter shoot with all period guns, last time I brought a M1 Carbine and didn't fair as well as people with M1 Grands, mausers, Springfields ect. So this time I'm bring my uncles M1 Grand. My question is has anyone shot a M1 and can give me some tips or heads up about the rifle and yes I know the recoil.
