Ok, I'm pretty sure that this doesn't belong in the classifieds. Anyway, I am thinking of getting a new AEG. I'm looking for an m4, and no more than $200 for the gun plus upgrades. I'm thinking either getting a jg full metal m4, and upgrade the gearbox ALOT. The other option is some kind of G&G m4, and leaving it stock. Just wanting everyone's opinions, thanks!

If you're really want to upgrade the gun, I would definitely recommend the JG. It is more on-spec with the TM, which makes it easier to accept upgrade parts. Also, the money you save compared to the G&G or King Arms could go towards more parts. But honestly, a stock JG doesn't need that much done to it besides basic maintenance like shimming, correcting AOE, compression check, and lube job. All Full Metal, Enhanced, and sometimes the basic JGs come with a neodymium motor with excellent gears and piston.

Someguy pretty much hit the nail on the head on this one. When I first started airsofting 3 years ago everyone told me to stay away from JG because they were no good. That's not the case they make good stuff and there gearbox shells are excellent. Personally I only buy G&G just because there reliable and I think you get the most bang for your buck but if your newer to airsoft or don't have as much money to spend get a JG there solid starter guns. Like someguy said the extra money your not paying for the G&G you can put back into the JG for whatever upgrades you want.
One more thing is I'd stay away from the metal body's most of these cheaper replicas use what's called pot metal witch is a blend of different cheaper low melting point metals it tends to be brittle and fairly easy to break stick with the polymer body's just ask Mavrick he accidentally backed over one of his AEGs with his truck and the gun still worked.

I suggested the Full metal because some people just prefer the weight, feel and sound of a metal gun, I know I do. I read a dozen reviews all praising the internals, performance and external build quality, and from what I gathered it would be a better field gun than CQC. If you need something that stock shoots under 350 then get the JG. As mainly a field player I forget that you cqc guys prefer ROF over FPS. the king arms is the preferred choice of one of my squadmates, who has tripped on top of, dropped, and otherwise beat the living crap out of this particular model with zero issues. Hoped that helped.

^^ yea they do wear on you heavy full metal guns are the only thing Sapper use to use (M249 M60 L85 M14EBR) when he switched to a polymer gun he told me how surprised he was at how much longer he could play without getting winded....True story
