This brings up something I've been wondering about...
The last time I went up there for rec play (probably at least a month ago), people on my team were very liberal with their use of firecrackers and some seemed to be getting upset when people weren't calling themselves out when a firecracker went off near them. I was under the impression that unless it was a grenade that spewed BBs, like a Tornado, they were just a distraction and that was it.
I was under that impression because of a thread dealing with grenades where it was stated that devices like the Thunder B, even if you filled it with baby powder, were distraction devices and nothing more. Although it I think it was these current KA forums, it might have been the old Airsoft of Kalamazoo forums.
In any case, I think some clarification on this would help (I know I'd like to be clear on the grenade rules).

they do not consist of bb's so it would not be a kill. They are strictly a confusion device, I like to throw one around a corner and just as it is going off turn the corner and shoot
