So we all think the people in the military are pretty kickass right?
Well there is a strict code to get in and with everything you do in the military, no matter what branch.
I personally am in the Army. There are so many codes on everything. What you can wear (AR 670-1), what physical training consists of.
One of the perks of being in the military is that some companies give discounts or free things to those in the military.
Some offer just %10 off a purchase, and some offer a first class plane ride.
Those offers sound great right?
Well whats the problem with most Americans? They are lazy and like to lie.
Well kids, and some adults. It is okay to get a Seal kit and use it for airsoft.
It is NOT okay however to go out, buy as complete uniform and make up a back story, this is not only morally wrong, you could go to jail for this.
It upsets me to have seen this MAN (he looks to be anywhere from 25-30) in full Army dress uniform and try to get free things from it.
Granted he did not get anything free from this video, but who is to say he didn't use it elsewhere and get something free.
People that do this not only upset those who have been in the military, but disgrace those who have fallen to make sure they still have their rights.
Now from the article that was written in it, he was proclaiming to be a Command Sergeant Major, which is 3 chevrons, 3 rockers, a star in the middle, AND a wreath around the star.
You can see that there is no wreath, first sign of how he is a fake.
Next and the biggest sign of fake, ribbons and medals.
According to AR 670-1, you wear either or, not both. Now this guy had his medals alllll sorts of messed up. He couldn't even keep his story straight about them. Also, his "airborn", "expert", and "marksmen" badges, out of line, and not meeting AR 670-1.
Lastly the most noted, the beret.
Officers are those higher than a Second Lieutenant, those who don't know, that is a gold bar. Those under are NCOs (noncommissioned officers), those are sergeants. Only officers are allowed to wear their rank on their beret. Not only did he have it on, but it was not in line!

Not only did he mess up the bronze star and the silver star, he lied about pulling 5 of his men out of a Humvee? (I could be mistaken) But Command Sergeant Majors are not around Sergeants. sergeants are the team leaders of the squads almost NEVER talk to CSMs. This could have happened but it is very unlikely.
He was an MP.
Even if you reclass to a different MOS in the army, you still carry your MP badge with you. No matter what.

Ive mentionted what this is. Well, the marines in this video know what it is too. If they know what it is, how in the hell is some impersonator not going to know? He says that it is the regulations of PT (physical training) and that he doesn't have to do it because he is and OFFICER. Excuse me...but when people address officers of the Army, they say "Good morning sir/ma'am." If he was a CSM people would say "Good morning Command Sergeant Major." Plus even if he was an officer, he still has to do PT. I do pt with my Second Lieutenant, my First Lieutenant, AND my Commanding Officer.
So all in all kids, if you want to look cool and get those cool gear things and cool uniforms like the military guys have you can do two things.
1) Be awesome and actually serve and not be so messed up. You'd only better yourself that way and get the gear for free.
2) Buy the gear for hundreds of dollars.
Now if you choose number 2 then do the following.
A) Only use for plays or nonprofit ways; , airsoft, reenactments, or for display.
B) Never try to get something out of it, even if you use your airsoft kit to go to McDonald's and get %10 off your meal, you can go to jail.
