VFC is a much better product throughout. G&G has a horrible habbit of either some of the worst gear box problems or internals. I have not heard of any bad press of about the VFC's and most people that have them dont want to get rid of them.

I wouldn't go with G&G my gear box burnt up after 3 times using it.

I have a G&G(GR-16 CQB-S)...the issues that Doc says are true about the gearbox. I've changed my entire gearbox shell just once so far. VFC are better quality, but, at a higher price. G&G-$360+ VFC- $400+...You decide which is for you.

Classic Army isnt a bad brand and from my exp. they're reliable. I'd go with the Aug.

My friend had a classic army aug it was a nice gun. I'd buy one but I don't like Bullpup rifles there just not my style but if I had to buy one it would be a classic army Aug for sure. Right out of the box the gun ran great.

VFC is a much better product throughout. G&G has a horrible habbit of either some of the worst gear box problems or internals. I have not heard of any bad press of about the VFC's and most people that have them dont want to get rid of them. That's debatable. My G&G has been working outstanding for the past 3 years with zero upgrades to the gearbox. I think the old saying of "You get what you pay for" applies. I paid 210$ for mine but it came with the extremely reliable 8mm oilless ball bearing gearbox. I won't say its indestructible but it's pretty darn close. I've never had any technical issues ever. In fact, the only time I have ever opened it was to upgrade and oil/clean. I wouldn't go with G&G my gear box burnt up after 3 times using it. That's because you have the heaviest trigger finger in Southwest Michigan. p.s Link to my gun (stock): www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=31809
