Airhouse Improvements

I want to start off by saying the things I am about to say may or may not have already been brought up, but I am just throwing out all of the ideas I can come up with. Anyone else who thinks of something I miss, please feel free to add on to this thread.

Lighting:
I think it's a very good idea to get a little bit more light into the airhouse. Now keep in mind some players do like the dark spots, so maybe we can make a designated part of the airhouse dark.

Outside:
I love the outside part of the airhouse, I frequently go out to the outside for many different reasons. One suggestion however is to change up the cover, and really get the outside playing to its full potential. Im talking more buildings and possibly one big main structure in the middle. I do realize this will take time and money.

Shooting lanes:
It is CQB, so I dont think there should be wide open shooting lanes, however, we should do something so there isnt a spot in the airhouse that is too sheltered in. This in my mind will keep the game flowing smoothly and discourage camping.

Heating:
Simply, Heating in the staging area for those cold winter months.

Garage:
I dont know if its already cleaned up, but all of the pallets and scrap wood in there need to go.

One thing not related to the building of the airhouse, I think we should do more 4v4 competitions. The competition at these events is amazing.

They have the heating issues fixed.

There is new lighting being put in and already installed.

The out side would be a big full weekend project but I would be for it. I will bring that idea to the group and see what they think.

Just putting this out there... everyone giving suggests about the air house should a be willing to come out on cleaning and building days to help out. We also need to get more people to come out to play, so the air house can make enough money for more improvements.

I agree with you, people with suggestions should come out if they have the time. However, player turnout is usually not an issue at the airhouse.

I love your ideas about the outside and we do plan to build on that. A city feel would be nice. Also you mentioned the garage, We want to clean it out of course but also build a cat walk around the North and East walls so people can actually shoot out those windows without getting impaled with nails or falling off that couch that was in there.

One thing I've always wanted was a somewhat small 2 story tower in the place of the bus stop. 2 story towers outside would be sweet too!

I remember this, good ol' apartment. We could make it work if we put 3 foot rails up on the 2nd story and then wrapped it in plywood.
