A little game i thought of to spice things up, a little milsim and a lot of cqb action. Short story to introduce the game, two factions are in a war that minutes ago turned nuclear, and must battle for the only nearby fallout shelter before the radiation sweeps into the area.
Game starts with both teams at outdoor spawns (ex. tower and church) with unlimited lives. Indoors is off limits. They have anywhere from 10-15 minutes to collect 'supplies' before radiation rolls in. Supplies are many 'rations' (tin cans or other small objects painted brightly) worth 1 point, some 'medkits' (medium-ish boxes with red medical crosses spray painted on) worth 5 points, and two 'ammo crates' (nuke barrel and missile tube, or other large objects) worth 10 points. Teams collect items and turn them into the spawn for points. At the end of the time limit, the game enters stage two....
A two-minute countdown begins as radiation rolls in. All players must make it inside by the end of the two minutes, or are dead for the remainder of the game (if two minutes proves to not be enough time, that can be adjusted to allow more players to survive) Outdoors is now out of bounds, and new indoor spawns are used. The number of points each team earned from supplies is converted to the number of lives the team now has for the second half of the game, and plays like battlefield until one team is eliminated.
Nothing is set in stone, and adjustments are free to be made.
