KJW m4's typically don't have many problems including gas "freezes" you should be able to get half to 3/4 of a mag off without any complications. What I typically do for my gas mags is I put a hand warmer on the outermost side inside my mag pouches. This way my body heat will help on one side of the pouch and the hand warmer in the pouch covers the other side.

Thanks guys, I bought it back in October 2013 and haven't gotten a chance to field it yet so I wasn't sure what to expect. Can't wait to use it!

I won't be able to in the summer because I'm stationed in Japan. But I will be home for about a month in the November /December area.

The FPS limit is 360 with .20 bbs regardless of the temp outside. It's cold because it's an old warehouse with little to no insulation and no heating system currently in use on the field itself (it's always a good idea to have gloves on but dress accordingly for Michigan non-summer weather). The FPS limit was largely set because many of the G&G guns they retail were shooting at about 360 and instead of having someone buy a gun from them and then have to have a spring change to legally play at the same place, they just upped it. It saved everyone money and headaches. That being said, if the FPS limit bothers you in a CQB setting (distances as close as 3 feet) then wear an appropriate level of protection to suit your pain tolerance.
See you on the field
