Do we count thunder B grenades as kills when they go off next to you?

That is a good question. I personally think that if a Thunder B were to go off in the same room you were in, that counts as a kill on everyone in the same room.
It's up to Phat, Infidel, and Loony though.

I would think so. Real Sound Grenades would have a person down in a combat scenario.

I think we need to limit kills to being hit with a BB or a training knife. Adding new ways to get a kill creates confusion.

I agree with shamrock on this one, even though I use them, they are ment to stun a combatant so that over taking them is easier.

Thanks for the feedback, I was contemplating purchasing some and this helped me decide.

In the end you need a knife or bb to take someone else out (as of right now) and last I heard there is no such thing as a knife grenade ;D, I would go with a tornado, but thats just me.

I used to toss some BBs inside my Thunder Bs, but I do not recommend it since it reduces the timer and can be quite unpredictable. I have first hand knowledge of how much it hurts to have one blow up in your hand.
Regardless of this, they are SO loud that using them just before charging or breaching an area works wonders.

Your right they do not consist of bb's so it would not be a kill. They are strictly a confusion device, I like to throw one around a corner and just as it is going off turn the corner and shoot all the people squinting in utter confusion....
Thunder b tip of the day- Put some baby powder inside for a very realistic looking smoke puff after they go off.

I think that Thunder B's are meant for distraction and not kills. That's like a firecracker going off next to you and your out. If you put BB's in it, it should be fine.

Please DO NOT add bbs to a Thunder B. It is designed for a distraction only. The baby powder idea is great for added effect.

It seems to me that if someone is in the initial cloud of powder, they could be considered hit. Thoughts?

Thunder B's are meant to simulate flashbangs so I would say no they don't count as a kill

Shift, I don't think it should count as a hit, just a distraction.
