Since I have a spot in my heart for the AUG, I was browsing around Evike to find one, and stumbled across the ASG Steyr AUG A2. Due to the price tag, of $99 for the cheaper one, which is basically the same gun, with lower FPS it seems, or the $150 version, which shoots at a higher FPS (still within field limits I would presume). I'm curious if anyone has experience with these guns, and if it would be a good thing to actually buy myself one. Notably I chose the AUG, because I like to take a step away from the standard M4's, and AK's, and reach for my all time favorite gun, the AUG.

ASG isn't preferential if you are looking for a quality replica. They are low-end, even more so than a reputable clone group like JG. You'd be better off reaching out to the community and putting up a Want To Buy ad looking for an AUG. I, for instance, have a Classic Army AUG that has been flawless, and it's been collecting dust for over a year. I'd be willing to bet there's other members on here who may be in the same boat. You can find a used gun incredibly marked down, you just have to do some hunting. 9/10 times you'll wind up with a much better replica for about the same price.
