I was wondering if there is a way to make a 7.4 lipo battery work with the gun. This is because I was thinking about buying a small sidearm to use as a backup. If anybody knows how I would really appreciate it.

I have done it a couple of times now. I open the gun up and route wiring outside of the front handguard which is perfect for a PEQ box or a battery bag. If you do get it and want me to do this for you, it will run $30 with all parts and labor included.
