Nothing stops little cocks from buying their own zipties and throwing them on whatever gun they have after they see their friends colors. Plus KA probably wont change colors every weekend which means they could leave on the old tie and modify the gun through the week.
Put a consequence behind the act, thats the problem with our justice system, and with the situation. If there is something to fear then people will obey.

At Origins, those doing the chrono checks were using a small speed loader to top off all mags with .20's to ensure that the FPS was correct. Right now when we do a check at KA we are trusting those with the gun to tell us truthfully what weight the BB in the mag is. I see no reason why the refs can't keep a M4 mag loaded with .20's and a speed loader for the non-M4 guns to do an initial chrono as well as possible after round spot checks.

This is a great idea seeing as many of the KA community believe that simply changing bb weights is enough to make them safe.

Nice idea, Grifter. Seeing as many players at KA run stanag mags, the chrono process would still move pretty quick.

Only issue with this is for the people that truly do use heavier bbs in their gun. I haven't used .20's in over a year because .23/.25/.28 bbs fly on a flatter trajectory. So while this is a good idea to keep MOST people accountable, the people who use heavier bbs have an issue.

No, you could still use whatever weight bb's you want. You would just need to load in like 5 or 6 rounds of .20's at the chrono station.

Lets look at the beginning post of this thread. We should have random cronos because, I heard some people talking about their gun being Hot. This is where we automatically call in the "Refs", or making some rule on Cronos. We should work as a team of Airsoft players, and Ref ourselves. Call it out! Hey that's bullshit! We have a limit for a reason. If its to Hot, It's to fricking Hot! If you see someone on your team not calling their hits, call them out. Refs can't be everywhere. Lets help each other by keepin the sport playable and not bitchable.

Only issue with this is for the people that truly do use heavier bbs in their gun. I haven't used .20's in over a year because .23/.25/.28 bbs fly on a flatter trajectory. So while this is a good idea to keep MOST people accountable, the people who use heavier bbs have an issue. Does not matter if YOU use a heavier weight bb. The rules are the rules. Get on bag of .20g bb's for chrono. After that is done and you are within the allowed 350FPS with .20g, then you can use whatever weight bb you want. I know myself and a few others use .25g when we play, however when it is time to chorno, I'm using .20g in my mag to make sure I'm well within the rules of KA. This rule is not only one that is part of the insurance policy for KA, since it is a CQB enviroment, it is a safety one at that as well. So if this is an issue for those of us that use heavier bb's for play, there are two ways to fix this problem. 1. Get a bag of .20g for chornoing and follow KA's rules (which has been there since the beginning). or 2. Just dont play at KA if you dont want to follow the rules. KA should not have, to and Im sure is not going to change their rules, especialy one that is in the area of safe play. So in short here, Follow KA's Chrono rules: 350FPS with a .20g bb. Then you can load whatever weight in your mags you want to use for play. Play Safe, Have Fun.... Not that hard to follow.

You need to load in about 25-30rds in to the mag, not 5 or 6... Just be sure to have an empty mag when you come to chrono, and the person running it has a bag of .20g for chrono.
