Good Gun for a Beginner?

So today was my first day at K.A. and I ended up using my friends old airsoft gun. The thing is, i'd like my own, but I have no idea on what's a good model. Does anyone have a few suggestions on a good gun to start out with and where I could buy it?

Try the Lancer Tactical M4 A1 Carbine on airsoftgi.com (plastic body but the internals are metal and theres a version 2 gearbox) its around $100

A step up would be the Ares M4A1 on airsoftgi.com as well. Price is higher... $250 but the quality of the weapon is good.

People may hate me saying this but my bro bought the Ignite Blacks Ops Viper M4 from "Walmart".... it actually performed well for $100. Look into it.

I would suggest an Ares m4. Try Evike, they have a good selection. What gun were you using?

I was using a G36C. I think he got it from...well Walmart. I'm not an expert on airsoft guns, but the accuracy on the gun wasn't that great :/

For an m4 try a combat machine. If you like ak's try a cyma cm028, for $110 you'll get a pretty reliable gun that will last a good 2-3 years.

My brother has the Crosman Pulse R73, bought it for like $80 from Dunham's (Not prime by any means) but it works well and he generally likes it.

Just get a polar star. Thats what you will end up with in the end.

D-Boys SCAR-L. An amazing beginner gun, and will take a hell ton of a beating before needing any major fixes.

The G&G Combat Machine M4 or AK47's are a good deal. $140-160 gets you a gun that is durable and quite accurate. I personally have the AK47 version and people think I've put a suppressor on it, it's that quiet. I should have probably asked first though, what's your budget?

I suggest either a Combat Machine, Ares M4, or any CYMA AK47s.

What kind of gun are you looking for? If you have a specific model (G36, AK47/74, M4, etc.) and a specific price range in mind, then you'll get a better response and recommendations.

If you’re on a budget, I would also recommend the combat machine. Personally I would just buy one from KA, support you local small business. Although I have never bought a gun from them, everything I have is priced the same as Evike or ASGI and you don’t have to wait a week to get it. I believe their rentals are combat machines as well, so you can always rent one and see if you like it.

Jing Gong makes pretty decent clones that are compatible with most Tokyo Marui parts, but at least cost to the buyer. I know they make a solid M4 for around $150, and the sky's the limit as far as upgrading goes.

Combat machines are very nice, very affordable for most people. I've been playing for a while, and have been around a lot of great guns, and combat machines perform pretty much just as well as any gun i have seen.

Jg m4 s-system. I had one in the beginning and got one again. Jg ak47 is awesome to both around 150-175.
