I understand all your points and agree with all of them. Specially the $$$. I figure this is a something that everyone has to get over when they first start playing airsoft.

I've been playing airsoft since 2008 I've honestly never bothered putting a lot of money into my gear. As long as I have some where for my magazines and water i'm good to go. I play very rough especially at my normal field so i'd end up tearing up the expensive load outs a lot of you wear, to be honest it doesn't matter what gear you have on. That's not the issue, the issue is simply people not wanting to take their hits. I too have noticed that it always seems to be the same ones that don't take their hits when I make my monthly trip up north. I'm sorry but if you've played airsoft for awhile you know what a bb sounds like when it impacts any kind of cloth. No need to get upset if a person isn't take their hits just light them up even more.

We have Refs for a reason. If you see someone not calling a hit tell a ref.

My experience with "hearing your hits" have proved to me that sometimes, with that gun by your head, it is hard to hear something hit you
