It seems to me like all anyone does on here anymore is argue, complain and trash-talk other players. This forum is meant for friendly communication. Have you heard of the saying if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all? Well keep that in mind whenever you are making a post on this forum. I'm sick of seeing people saying hurtful things to others.

I think, as do some of the other vets, is that a lot of the arguments and complaining are coming from newer, younger players. They expect the game to play like COD, and for them to win every time. They dont have the appreciation for the game and what we have now. If they were into the game 10 years ago like myself, there were almost no games, ever. We would be lucky to have a game every three months within a 1.5 hour drive. On another note the only guns you could buy were $350-500 TM and CA guns, we didnt have any $100 clones or anything of the sort.
What Hollis and Chad have created is a place for all of us to go and have fun, EVERY WEEKEND! People need to appreciate this and realize the effort that has been put in by all of the older generation who made airsoft what it is today. There will always be someone with a "better" gun, and always someone with better tactics. This should push you to get better, and to learn. There were many times when I first started where I used a Well g3 SAS with 20rd midcaps against teams of 10 players with PTWs.
TL;DR, We have it good, new players appreciate what you have.

Well put Maverick and That Girl. We here in SW Michigan have it so good. Maybe instead of complaining about another team crushing yours. Study tactics, remember what works for each game type, carefully study all of Spaz's videos. Thats what I did. I would watch some vids over and over enough so I could see why he moved where he did. You can learn a lot. If think you need some new fancy gun. Think again. Just watch Chewy singlehandedly zip right through a whole team with just a knife and pistol and steal the bomb from them. That totally impresses me!!!
see you later...........in my sights.

I'm glad this thread was created many of these things needed to be said. Let me also add I think some players have gotten away from the main purpose of airsoft an that's to have fun. Sure the game can get competitive and sometimes things can become heated but at the end of the day we are all there to have a good time and I think people need to think about that before they post insulting things or start arguments. I for one love this forum and I've had a blast with those of you I've been fortunate enough to play with. -Miller

Couldn't agree more with ya Mav. Still remember when I was young and still lived in Illinois and went to CPX sports in Joliet running around with a baseline JG-M4 and a high cap nothing else. That and they only held airsofting once a month at the end of the month. I just need to buckle down and get a car (soon) so that I can participate in more airsoft events up there at K-zoo.

Hell, I live in Kalamazoo and still can't get a ride most of the time.

This wins. Gunny and ThatGirl have valid points as well. I'd also like to think that compared to alternative Michigan airsoft forums, KA is pretty newbie friendly. Cuddly in fact. Some of you kids would get torn to shreds over there.

There's a reason I tend to stay away for MiA.
Everyone has made some very valid points. And I know I've been in my fair share of arguments (hell, I've started a few), but everyone is right. We have it really good.
