i was wondering if they would make an exception for 355 fps since its only 5 fps over the limit.

It's completely up to Loony and Infidel, from experience I know (In my opinion) that 350 is to much as it is. I would like people to shoot for 330 personally but like I said, talk to Loony or Infidel.

My gun shoots a bit hot normally, so when I go to the airhouse I just turn the hop-up up just a little bit and leave it there so it shoots at an acceptable speed. It's not the best way to do it as it will wear out your hop-up faster but it works.

So instead of following rules that are set by the owners of KA you are violating them. I had thought that both the owners have set this limit at 350fps with a .20g bb. Please follow the rules that are set forth by the owners. Thanks

A suggestion that is a little better than raptor's, instead of slamming the gearbox repeatedly and wasting bbs. You can also just half knucklehead the spring, by pulling the trigger just a little bit till its half cocked, then just leave it there. Also for a spring gun, you can just leave it cocked overnight and maybe for a couple nights. It will eventually weaken the spring.
And doc- how is that cheating? I mean if he turned the hopup down afterwards then it would be over the limits. But if he left it on high the whole time he's playing, it will be <350 fps. Does it really matter how you do it, so long as it is not too hot?

Does it really matter how you do it, so long as it is not too hot? He is turning the hopup off of a gun that is shooting over the limit, which is turn is lowering the FPS so he can make it legal to play, then after chrono, fixes his hopup and is not shooting over the allowed limit. That is cheating, as he found a way to get around a safety rule. Which in turn this could harm someone. What going to happen when they come around to spot chrono and he is then shooting hot.... Just follow the rules set forth by the owners. It is not that hard to do.

Is he turning the hop up down after Chrono? It seemed like he was leaving it on high the whole game. If he did turn it off afterwards, then I agree that's cheating and could lead to injuries. But it seemed to me like taking two or three shots for Chrono would not wear your hopup down... I just turn the hop-up up just a little bit and leave it there so it shoots at an acceptable speed. It's not the best way to do it as it will wear out your hop-up faster but it works. Just a misunderstanding I think.

the problem then becomes, that his bbs, are curving upwards toward a persons face. I'm not trying to be mean here, but it doesn't create a good situation.

But with proper eye and face protection they should be ok, and he can always just aim at their feet.

Just stick to the rules and get a $12.00 spring rather then "Cheating" or "Hurting" someone. It's that simple.

if you are over the fps, and need a spring, replace the spring with a m100, cheep at $12, and i agree with Doc, dont tweak your gun for a day, if its over, fix it, if you dont know how to, ask around, mav is a great tech and fixed my gun in a short time

just drop it, everyone will cheat, weather its fps, hit calling, just take all the pro cautions you can to ensure your safety, it's better if all do the same thing, but everyone wont, we can not have a utopia
