hello,
I just bought a Remington 700 Tactical with the intention of getting into some long range shooting. Before I get started, I need to get a scope mounted. I have been looking at mounts, but I don't really know where to start. Mounts seem to range from $20 to almost $200 and I don't see the big difference between those two. I'm looking for some advice.
The rifle will be used for target shooting from 100 yards to probably 600 yards. I would like to get a scope with a high magnification (up to 25x) and a 30mm tube.
What should I be looking for?
