Ok... Well, not trying to be rude, but it just seems like a disadvantage on Deigo's part, I realize some people like to wear jeans but I thought it would be nice to have the option to wear full BDU, cause it would offer alot more concealment... Are the jeans completely mandatory?

I just see alot of players that are hearing about this event second hand, from others and such, not bringing jeans to the event. Desert Digi's the way to go.

I just see alot of players that are hearing about this event second hand, from others and such, not bringing jeans to the event. Desert Digi's the way to go. So let me be very clear about this event and the camo restrictions. If people show up in a camo that is not on the list, they will be asked to change. If they do not have the proper camo, Kalamazoo Airsoft will be carrying a small selection of camo that will qualify and if they don't have what is needed, for instance blue jeans, then that person(s) will be asked to go into town and purchase what ever is needed. Other than that the only other option is to not participate. I hope everyone understands this. PM if you have questions. Also please to those of you who know people coming with out blue jeans planning on playing for Diego Delgado, tell them it is a requirement, not an option. Here is the list that was given from day one and needs to be followed. Pablo Estevez Cocaine Team: Woodland, Woodland MARPAT, DPM, OD Tiger Stripe, OD Green, Multi-Cam and Woodland A-TACs
Diego Delgado Marijuana Team: Blue Jeans with Black or Desert Tan Top
The only other addition we are allowing is to Diego Delgado's team and that is they are allowed to wear a Hawaiian shirt. Also understand people are allowed to wear what ever color gear over their uniform. Gear is much more expensive and we understand people just don't go out and buy all new gear for an event. Questions? PM me. Thanks for the heads up Slack, I know people like to wear their full camo's but this is a different kind of Milsim. You guys will not be at a disadvantage and you guys are going to have a blast. There is some pretty funny stuff lined up and I can't wait for you guys to experience it. Thanks again.

I played a Rec game at the Airhouse a couple weeks ago just to test out what wearing jeans might do to game play. I consider myself a pretty dynamic player; I do a lot of kneeling and crawling along with other odd body positions and honestly, I completely forgot I was wearing jeans. As long as you're wearing a "normal" cut like straight, loose or bootcut it really shouldn't be a problem. If you're one of those people wearing skinny jeans all the time, well you might be out of luck (bring another pair and/or a roll of duck tape for when you rip the crotch out of them). The only thing I missed was cargo pockets for "stuff" but we'll all be wearing some kind of vest so figuring out a work around shouldn't be an issue. I really feel the blue jeans issue is a non-issue and has more to do with people getting bent that they can't wear ALL their tacticool stuff.
When I decided to start playing airsoft it was as a replacement for training with real firearms which lately has become expensive. I train with the mindset that I might not have time to get all "kitted out" or that dressing tactically might be a BAD thing. With that in mind I've always played in clothes that act like (or are) the clothes I wear everyday, that way all the kinks have been worked out.
Anyways, sorry for the longish rant. I'm sure Saturday is going to be great. Make sure to bring your canned goods (it goes to a good cause), plenty of water and a good attitude.
