I don't know if you guys have heard, but at sometime around 2 o'clock 2 bombs went off on the sidelines of the race. Last I have heard 2 people have died and over 100 injured (according to CNN), and a while after those two bombs went off another explosion happened at the JFK Library in Boston, but they tweeted that it was a fire in the building that caused that. Police are still investigating if there was a link between the explosions.

I'll leave all of the details up for you to discuss because I've been watching the news for 3 hours and am hearing updates left and right. All I want to say is I could be having a far worse day. My, now ex-uncle, is a veteran of the Boston Marathon. He's participated in it for over 2 decades. For some reason he didn't go this year and when he was married to my aunt his son, my aunt, and her 2 kids (my cousins obviously) used to stand right at the finish line to see him finish. No joke. I'm thankful that he and his son didn't go. My deepest condolences go out to everyone there who had to witness that horrific event especially those who lost their lives and who are in nearby hospitals receiving treatment. |

A couple of our families friends left 15 minutes before the explosion, thank God, prayers go out to all families today. I hope whoever or whichever terrorist group this was pays the price, for killing tons of innocent people and almost killing my families friends.

I meant injuring, sorry. Over 50 people are injured and there was very graphic stuff. I'm not going into detail but it was crazy.

My older sister sent me a picture of the site where the first bomb went off from the perspective on the sidewalk and there's blood everywhere... I can't even imagine being there.

I apologize for saying this, and I hope Im not upseting anybody, but this attack proves guns arent the problem. It the crazy assholes who could care less about living and only about being extremists and or wanting to kill people. Whoever did this I hope will rot and my prayers go out to the families.

Last I heard, Death Toll is up to 12, and Injured is up to 115.

I don't care to give a run down of details. These kinda of events are very sad. They happen all over world sad it only hurts most when it hits home. I do hope they find who did this. I don't see there ever being an end to these such events.
